Privacy policy
We collect only what we need to run fair auctions and keep payments safe, and we keep your contact details private.
What we collect
- Full name, Kenyan phone number, email address, town and general area or estate.
- Listing details, photos (location data is stripped on upload) and messages between buyers and sellers.
- Payment references from M-Pesa, so deposits, refunds and payouts can be matched and verified.
What we never show publicly
- Phone numbers, emails and exact addresses never appear on listing pages. Listings show only a general location.
- When you win an auction, the seller’s name, phone number and town are shared with you so you can arrange delivery. The seller sees your name and town and reaches you through the in-app messages.
How we use your data
- To run auctions, verify payments, process refunds and payouts, and resolve disputes.
- To send you important updates by SMS and email, such as deposit confirmed, outbid, or refund completed.
- To keep a secure record of every financial transaction for accuracy and accountability.
