Starting bid
- The seller sets a starting bid of at least KSh 500, in multiples of KSh 50.
- There is no hidden reserve price. The auction runs from the starting bid to the closing time, and the highest confirmed bid wins.
Bidding
- Every bid is a multiple of KSh 50 and beats the current bid by at least KSh 50.
- The minimum next bid is shown before you pay your deposit, so you always know what it takes to lead.
- Bids count only after your M-Pesa deposit is confirmed. Bids waiting for payment never set the displayed price.
Winning
- When the auction closes, the highest confirmed bid wins.
- Losing bidders are refunded their deposit automatically.
- The winner pays the 90% balance within 72 hours, the seller ships once payment is confirmed, and the buyer confirms receipt.
Instant win at KSh 25,000
- A confirmed bid of KSh 25,000 ends the auction immediately and that bidder wins.
Fair finishes
- If a confirmed bid arrives in the final 60 seconds, the auction extends by 60 seconds.
- Times are shown in Africa/Nairobi.
No sale
- If an auction closes with no confirmed bids, the seller is notified and can relist.
- Nobody is penalised and no deposits are held.
